Nails + Snack

So today I thought I'd chill with bf but apparently he had to do somthing with his parents. That bum so I decided to get my nails done at "On Top Design Nails". Usually I get a french manicure with different colours on the top. So far I've had the basic white, grey and blue. I only recently been doing different colours that is lol. So this time I got blue again. Next time I might go a bit more crazy with the colour choice.

On my way there I did stop in a chinese supermarket to get a quick snack and I saw these super cute candy wedges. $1.99. I like the peach wedge the most.

I wonder if I put them all together if I can make a whole fruit :D
Also this peach tea drink. $0.89. Tastes really good!

Thats it. :3

Cosmos Gray

(Picture from Pink Colour!)

So I've been thinking of getting a new pair of contacts. Here are my previous contacts, "Cosmos Gray". I like them because they were the closest thing to clear but the only thing wrong with them is most of my brown eye colour shows.

This is what I saw when I was buying it. From this you can really see that they look almost clear except for the black outline.

I only noticed recently that they were supposed to be shaped.. star like. Well like one of those POW! bubbles.

More info about these contacts are here! I bought my contacts from Pacific Mall but i realized that you can get them cheaper from the site. The only thing wrong from ordering from the site is that if there is a defect with it they dont do refunds. If they send you the wrong prescription or wrong design sure but if there is a rip or anything they wont have anything to do with it.

I think these ones are really nice but it dosen't look like you can see them very well on dark coloured eyes.

I also love these ones! They look super big when you where them and I love the colours. I think i might get the purple ones first.

Walmart

Today I was supposed to go to work only to find out that the manager forgot to call me and tell me that I didn't have to come in. So near by there was a walmart so I decided to take a little walk around but came back with these:

(Freeman, Facial Gel Scrub Raspberry, $3.77)

(Bath Therapy, Strawberries-n-Cream body wash, bubble bath, and shampoo $4.98)

(Grumpy Bear Nighty, $12.00)

(Maynards Sour Watermelons, $1.18)[My new favourite candy] and (Trident Layers, Green apple+Golden pineapple)

And that was my trip to walmart. lol.

Go for tea?

Go for tea? My sister has been telling my about this place for a while now so I decieded to go check it out. We both went for a "fancy lunch" which with seperate bills mine was $22.00. Talk bout fancy lunch. from the outside it looked like any other restaurant you'd see, but on the inside it was very nice I must say. The chairs were comfortable, it was very modern, the lights were dimmed with spotlights on the tables. I should of really took a picture of the inside, it was very gorgeous. Immeidatly when we got there we were seated and recieved the menu. Hmm, from first glance, everything on the menu looked...dare I say, nasty? The pictures were all dark and it wasn't like a macdonald commercial were they have that delicious looking burger that makes you want it. I think the choice of dishes that they put on the menu could of been better. In terms of prices, for the amount they give us, I was quite full after my meal so I'd say it was worth it. The bubble tea of course was overpriced like every other restaurant but it was still enjoyable. The dessert on the other hand was a very tiny piece of cake with fancy plateing for $5.99.

(Strawberry and Peach Milk Green Tea, $3.99)

(Fried Vermicelli Taiwanese Style w/ Pork, $7.99)

(Cute packet that the fork, chopsticks and spoon came in.)

(Fried Rice w/Mixed Vegetables & Egg, $7.99) It literally looks like someone ate 1/4, and that's how my sister got it -_-"

(Chocolate brownie cheescake, $5.99)

So, besides that fact that the prices wass a bit overpriced (well atleast for lunch anyways), and the fact that my sister's rice looked like someone got hungry on the way to delivering it, I give Go for Tea 9/10!

Café Crêpe

(Chicken, Egg, Mayonnaise $7.00)

I finally get my visit to the Cafe Crepe. My and my sister took a long 1.5 hour ride on the TTC to arrive at a classy, modern, crepe restaurant. There is a good variety of crepes for vegetarians and well everyone else. Not only do they have crepes, they also carry grilled panini sandwiches, french baguette sandwiches, a parisian hot dog, and soups of the day. In my opinion I think they are charging a bit much for a simple swiss cheese and egg that we can make at home (which I do plan on trying) for $6.00+tax. The look of the savoury crepes are a bit boring aswell as they all look alike with no added plateing for show. But the sweet crepes are a bit more dressed up as they can drizzle what ever is on the inside on the top. As well as the drink, I ordered a vanilla bean tea and recieved a cup of hot water, 3 milks and a tea bag. I had to pretty much open the packet, put in the tea bag, put in the milk, ask for sugar, then of course put in the sugar. I was not impressed.

(Vanilla bean tea, $2.50)

(Honey and nut crepe, $4.25)

(Apple sauce and cinnamon, $4.75) [Sister got this one.]

The atmosphere I must say was very nice and modern but with vintage looking paintings, but the seating was very uncomfortable. The seating arrangement is pretty much a long row of tables where you can be sitting next to complete strangers on this long connected chair? sofa? It's just a very long soft.. thing that you can sit on. Overall, my experience at the Cafe Crepe would have to be 5/10.

Frankie Tomatto's All You Can Eat Italian Feast

"Cause when Frankie's says eat, HEY you eat!"
So last week or so Patrick and I went to eat at Frankie Tomatto's All you can eat Italian Feast. I thought their Italian foods were pretty good. I especially enjoyed the pastas. I did however felt that there could of been a bit more selection other than pizza, pastas, and seafood. The desert on the other hand was very delicious with many to choose from as well as a ice cream bar.
The service was also great, when I came back with another plate my previous plate was always cleared and my glass was always refilled with water. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, they played very nice music, and even in the washroom's they taught you how to speak Italian. For the price of a Thursday evening dinner was a very reasonable $14.99 each.

Round 1

Round 2

Round 3

So overall, out of 10 my experience at "Frankie's" was 8.5/10.

Poopy day

Sighh today SUCKED! This might have been one of the worst days of the year so far. First of all, here was what I THOUGHT today was going to be like;

8:00: Wake up
8:30: Leave for crepes w/ my sis.
10:00: Eat crepe
10:30: Leave back for home
12:00: Chill with my boyfriend till 3
3:00: Do my homework
5:00: Go to school.
6:00: Write a test, hand in paper
6:30: School
9:20: Go home and sleep.
(Photo of 'neutella & banana crepe' from Cafe Crepe $5.75)

That is what I thought was going to happen and was going to be one of the best days. BUT here is how it went down.

8:00: Wake up
8:30: Sis has to go to the ROM for project, No crepes.
10:00: Stuck at home
10:30: Find out my bf has to get his car fixed, and get a hair cut
12:00: My dad comes home randomly and tells me to cook rice for dinner
3:00: Do my homework (took longer then anticipated)
5:00: Struggling to print homework, put contacts in with lotion on my hands and my eyes start to sting, burnt dinner
6:00: Barley make it to school to write test
6:30:School, but I'm practically falling asleep, so I left during the break.
9:20: Eating soup with my boo, but they didn't have the nice flat noodles I usually get and they gave me a very small serving of beef from what they usually give. I was very disappointed. So I treated myself to a Mcflurry, but now I feel fat. :(

(This is what the soup was supposed to look like from Pho Vietnamese $4.95)

And that was my not so cool day. Well I wouldnt' say it was THAT bad. Atleast I finished my homework in time, got to write the test, saw my bf and had a mcflurry :) Maybe it wasn't so bad after all. lol.
